So, we are finally taking action to create our blog, so we can share our Moroccan adventure with you.
This is Anna and Kim, and we're in charge of the family's posts.
We've been here now nearly four weeks, and during that time, we've found Anna and Tommy a new school (a French school), rented a villa, tried to furnish that empty villa (at least with the critical stuff like beds and a refrigerator), opened a bank account, acquired a cell phone, attended a kids' parties and teas, and, fortunately, made some friends, both in the ex-pat community and among the Moroccan families with kids at Anna and Tommy's school.
First, about the school (Anna) :
In the elementary school I used to go to we would have lots of kids coming from all over that didn't speak a word of English and I used to think they had it easy because they didn't have to really do anything. But now being here I realize that it is not - you get so overwhelmed that everyone is talking in a language that you don't understand that is does not seem easy at all.
But, everyone in school is really nice, the teachers are taking time off to help Tommy and I with our French and the kids are very understanding about our language gap.
We will write more about the other parts of our life soon but first we will attach some photos:
